Shershaah is an upcoming bollywood biographical war action movie, tracing the life journey of Param Vir Chakra awardee and army captain Vikram Batra. This movie is directed by Vishnuvardhan and co-produced by Karan Johar. It stars Sidharth Malhotra in a double role, as Batra and his identical twin brother Vishal; Kiara Advani plays the role of Dimple Cheema. This movie marks Vishnuvardhan's directorial debut in Bollywood and Hindi movie.

Shershaah Storyline

Shershaah is a biopic on the life of Captain Vikram Batra, an officer of the Indian Army, awarded with the Param Vir Chakra, India's highest and most prestigious award for valour, for his actions during the 1999 Kargil War. It was speculated that the title will be "Mera Dil Maange More" but later was changed to "Shershaah".

Shershaah Release Date

The official announcement for Shershaah was made in May 2019, principal photography commenced in the same month and wrapped up in January 2020. First look posters of the film were unveiled on 16 January 2020. 
            The movie is scheduled to release theatrically on 3 July 2020.
