The Conjuring 3 (also officially known as The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It) is an upcoming American supernatural english horror film. The movie is a sequel of 2013's The Conjuring and 2016's The Conjuring 2. This movie is directed by Michael Chaves, with a screenplay by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, from a story by Johnson-McGoldrick and James Wan. This movie is the eighth installment overall in the Conjuring Universe franchise. Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are paranormal investigators as usual in other two movies and authors Ed and Lorraine Warren, with Ruairi O'Connor, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Julian Hilliard also starring. Wan and Peter Safran are returning to co-produce the project.
The Conjuring 3 Storyline
The Conjuring 3 is based on the trial of Arne Cheyenne Johnson, a murder trial that took place in 1981 in Connecticut. The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It reveals a chilling story of terror, murder and unknown evil that shocked even experienced real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. One of the most sensational cases from their files, it starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before, to mark the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense.
